I like Gawker...a lot. But, do they have the street cred to use the word, "Mescan"?
Also - the author ("Hamilton Nolan"...insert George Lopez joke here) of the article makes it sound as if Mexicans (ahem, Latinos, Mexican-Americans/Tejanos, et al.) just came yesterday. Remember the Alamo? Yeah, well, "Mescans" fought against Mexicans there, too.
