I was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. Arrived to the US in 2000 just in time for high school. Graduated from Buffalo State College and currently reside in Washington, DC. Love to read, blog, play volleyball, i'm very involved and plan to become a Peace Corps volunteer.

I was born and raised in Miami, Florida. I visited Cuba at the age of 21 and it was a trip that changed my life. I am so saddened by the history of my parents' homeland, but so proud of what my family has done despite it.
